The DCM310 and DCM320 current clamps are the ideal tool for use in the installation, maintenance and inspection of electrical systems and equipment. Both instruments measure AC current up to 400 A with the ability to hold data to "freeze" the displayed value when working in tight spaces where readings are difficult. The DCM310 also has a maximum value hold function to automatically store and display the maximum value over a specified period of time. The advantage of the DCM320 is that it has AC and DC voltage measurement ranges up to 600 V and resistance up to 20 MQ using the instrument's terminals and the supplied test leads. It also has a circuit continuity buzzer that works up to 20 Q.
Both safety instruments comply with IEC61010 CAT III 600V, thus providing high levels of operator protection. Cases for carrying instruments are included in the delivery, but even without these cases, the instruments are protected from damage when dropped from a height of 1.2 m onto a hard surface.
They are the ideal tool for any job on major electrical systems and equipment. Current clamps are also applicable to tasks performed by contractors who carry out work related to electrical equipment.
