The Surge Unit 2/4/8 kV shock wave generator is intended for search and localization of cable faults and localization in low voltage networks using a maximum impulse voltage of 8 kV. Since traditional cable fault locating generators cannot provide sufficiently powerful impulses when used in low voltage networks, high impulse power at low voltage is of particular importance here. This makes it easy to find hard-to-locate low-voltage networks. The risk of harm to users due to high voltage is eliminated by selecting the appropriate voltage.
