CATIV MIT2500 Insulation Tester

The MIT2500 Conductivity and Insulation Tester has been designed for use in factories and environments where operating voltages exceed 1000V and higher test voltages are required for insulation measurements. The MIT2500 offers both a fixed voltage range of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V, and 2500V, as well as an adjustable range that allows any voltage between 50V and 2500V to be used. This is supported by a new reverse test voltage control. connection, which allows you to keep the output test voltage within 2% of the error of the selected range, even when performing a test. The MIT2500 uses a redesigned base frame and features a 6-cell battery compartment, as well as a built-in safety terminal to reduce surface leakage current, which degrades accuracy at high voltages. INSULATION RESISTANCE TEST: The closed loop insulation test voltage now has +2%-0% accuracy compared to the original +20% accuracy, providing a more accurate measurement without the danger of damaging the circuit with voltage spikes.
