The EGIL™ Circuit Breaker Characteristic Analyzer, which combines the proven performance of our large instruments, is primarily intended for testing circuit breakers in distribution and small power networks. Compact, lightweight and versatile, the EGIL™ analyzer is priced to appeal to small power plants. Moreover, it is an ideal complementary tool for maintenance departments and large energy companies.
EGIL™ is designed to test circuit breakers with only one main contact per phase. Its three channels of time join together on one side. Effects on parallel pins equipped with preset resistors are recorded and displayed simultaneously. It has two separate time channels for measuring the actuation time of the auxiliary contacts. To simplify field connections, EGIL™ is supplied with ready-to-use universal cable sets for both main and auxiliary contacts.
