Digital microohmmeter DLRO2

The DLRO2 is a rugged, handheld 2A low resistance ohmmeter. It is designed to provide fast, accurate and repeatable measurements even in electrically noisy environments. The DLRO2 is the latest in a long line of instruments proudly displaying the Ducter™ brand, with Ducter™ testers as well known and trusted as Megger insulation testers. For utilities or industrial users, a high level of safety is provided by the CATIII 600V / CATIV 300V rating for IEC61010. In addition, the tool can protect itself from being switched on unintentionally up to 600V without blowing the fuse, thus avoiding wasted time repairing or looking for a new fuse. When working outdoors, the IP54 rating ensures that neither rain nor dust interferes with testing. The DLRO2 measures low resistance values ​​over a wide range, ranging from railroads and aircraft to industrial applications. Measurements requiring long test leads are not a problem for the DLRO2 as it has a dedicated long lead test to optimize output. The long test lead function can provide up to 1A test current at 4Ω resistance. This makes the DLRO2, with optional cable reel test leads, ideal for testing wind turbines and lightning protection in avionics.

FUNCTIONS New difference meter The DLRO2 is also equipped with an innovative new feature called "difference meter". This makes it easy to compare repeated measurements with the original reference measurement. The difference meter translates the percentage difference into a pointer movement to visually easily see the change. New reference measurements can be set at the touch of a button. In order to be able to test lower power inductive loads, the DLRO2 can deliver 2A for at least 15 seconds, made possible by built-in high capacity rechargeable batteries along with a separate inductive load function. Batteries can be fully charged in 2.5 hours, minimizing downtime. Note: DLRO2 is not ATEX compliant and cannot be used in explosive gas atmospheres. DLRO2 lets you test and measure reliably To ensure the DLRO2 is always ready for testing, the included standard HR6 NiMH rechargeable batteries can be easily replaced with non-rechargeable standard AA alkaline batteries so you can test. A laptop computer is not a compromise in measurement quality. The DLRO2 delivers 1% accuracy with an emphasis on repeatability, making it ideal for repetitive quality testing in production environments.
