ECHO PULSER

The Echo Pulser designates the connection point where it is connected in an extensive cable network. This makes it possible to carry out measurements with a suitable reflectometer in the given network, without the need to disconnect consumers and branches. The location of the cable network marked by the Echo Pulser can be seen on the screen of a suitable reflectometer.

All points of signal reflection due to branches and consumers connected to them do not affect the measurement results. The instrument measures the length of the cable between the two instruments and checks its functionality. Through measurements with a reflectometer in other places of an extensive cable network, the remaining sections of the cable network are measured. In a similar way, defective sections of the cable network are localized, which will lead to the need to disconnect only the defective section.
