The SM 2500 is an electrical passive marker designed for marking important places in underground utilities. The markers are buried in the right places when laying underground communications or during repairs (eg cable box) and can be accurately and reliably located even after many years. This type of marking is mainly used when laying non-metallic communications, such as for example. fiber optic cables or plastic gas and water pipelines, when it is not possible to determine the route using traditional means. Even when laying cable lines, the installation of markers for e.g. markings for couplings, pupin boxes or protective channels has proven itself from the best side.
