Megger's DCM330 fork multimeter is a handy and compact tool designed to measure AC current up to 200 A and perform the basic functions of a conventional multimeter. With the ability to measure AC and DC voltages up to 1000 V and resistance up to 20 MΩ, as well as non-contact voltage detection, continuity audible alarms and diode tests, the Megger DCM330 Fork Multimeter is truly flexible and versatile. All of these features are available in one compact tool, eliminating the need for a separate multimeter and separate current clamps.
Megger's DCM330 multimeter has an autoranging feature on all measurement ranges. The current meter and non-contact voltage sensor do not need test leads, all other functions require them. The voltage detection function allows you to detect the presence of AC voltage in the range from 50 V to 1000 V at a frequency of 50 to 500 Hz. This feature works on any range, including OFF mode. Voltage detection is performed by a capacitive method with signaling by a tone signal and the light of a red LED located at the bottom of the fork head.
The DCM330 multimeter is suitable for use wherever it is required to measure AC current in individual unshielded conductors with a diameter of less than 16 mm, or AC/DC voltages up to 1000 V, or resistance up to 20 MΩ. Typical applications include: troubleshooting in domestic and industrial electrical wiring, analysis of standard loads, monitoring of parameters during start-up, maintenance and installation of machines.
