LTW425 Series Short Circuit Meters

The professional measuring instruments of the LTW 425 series make it possible to measure loop parameters in a two-wire way. This new series of LTW 425 instruments measures the loop impedance without tripping the RCD and can be used over a wide voltage range. By using the RCD-free test mode, the LTW 425 ensures that operating RCDs of 30mA and above will not trip. The tester can calculate short circuit (short circuit) current up to 40 kA.

High current testing. For power supplies that are not protected by RCDs, high current testing can be used, as there is no risk of RCD tripping, and the test time is also reduced. Megger uses a patented interference detection circuit that continuously monitors the voltage applied during testing, ensuring that spurious electrical noise does not interfere with measurement accuracy.
