Nearly 20 years of research has led to Megger's KF875, KF-UNI and KF-LAB coulometric Karl Fischer tetrators, designed to detect impurities in oil while maintaining high measurement accuracy in the field. With a built-in printer and hard carrying case, the Megger KF875 and KF-UNI are exceptionally portable, easy to use and highly accurate. The Megger KF-LAB is designed specifically for laboratory use, is powered exclusively by the mains, has no built-in battery and comes without a carrying case.
Designed specifically for testing insulating oil with a specific gravity of 0.875, the KF875 requires the operator to simply press one button and place a 1ml oil sample into the test chamber. Simple one-touch operation makes the KF875 an easy-to-use tester that does not require expert knowledge or special training to use effectively. The test results are displayed on the display and on paper, using the built-in printer, both in micrograms of water and in milligrams per kilogram (parts per million).
Megger KF-UNI allows you to titrate samples with specific gravity from 0.60 to 1.40, and also allows you to change the volume of the test sample. As unnecessary, the printer can be turned off; results are calculated in ppm, µg/kg, % and micrograms. For greater versatility, results can be calculated in relation to the weight of the test sample or the volume and relative density of the sample.
