Megger MIT 525, MIT515, MIT1025 5 and 10 kV DC insulation testers

The new series of Megger MIT 525, MIT515, MIT1025 insulation resistance testers is smaller and lighter than the previous models and, in addition, has improved performance and the ability to quickly charge the battery. This series of instruments includes three models: one entry-level 5 kV and two full-featured, one 5 kV and the other 10 kV. Measured resistance up to 10 TO for 5 kV models and up to 20 TO for 10 kV models. The increased performance of the Megger MIT 525, MIT515, MIT1025 is based on the ability to perform measurements when they are powered from the line / mains when the battery is discharged. The Intelligent Battery Charging Mode provides the optimum charge rate as a function of its remaining capacity, guaranteeing the shortest charging time.

The Megger MIT 525, MIT515, MIT1025 rugged housing provides maximum protection for the portable instrument, and the cable tie-down pocket ensures that the wires always stay with the instrument. The housing cover is removable to provide free access to the terminals. Degree of protection IP65 when the case is closed prevents water/dust ingress. High reliability and safety are built into the design - all models comply with the CATIV 600 V safety category and are double insulated. The insulation test mode provides five preset voltage ranges plus a user-selectable blocking voltage range. The preconfigured tests include the following: polarization index PI, dielectric dissipation factor DAR, dielectric discharge test DD, and step SV and voltage ramp tests.

Convenience and ease of operation of Megger MIT 525, MIT515, MIT1025 is provided by two rotary switches, and a large backlit display allows you to simultaneously display multiple results. The increased memory capacity allows you to save results with reference to time / date, record data and call up the results on the screen. A fully isolated interface for USB devices (type B) is used for secure data transfer to Megger's PowerDB / Pro software - advanced Advanced and Simple Lite resource management software tools.
