Stationary Engine Analyzer DX

The Baker DX Stationary Motor Analyzer Module offers more options for analyzing all insulation material and motor circuits in AC and DC motors, as well as generators and coils. These instruments provide insulation resistance (IR), polarization index (PI), dielectric absorption (DA), high voltage (HiPot) dc/step voltage and high frequency pulse insulation tests to evaluate all insulation in motors and coils. The motor circuit can also be analyzed using measurements of flow resistance, impedance, capacitance, phase angle, energy loss factor/quality factor.

DX features and added flexibility A low voltage test feature has been added to the Baker DX. This makes a more complete diagnostic solution possible for predictive maintenance or quality control on the shop floor. Low voltage tests can supply up to 600 mA at a frequency of 50 to 4000 Hz. The Baker DX is modular in design, allowing the DX to be configured with only the test functionality needed for a particular application. For example, it can be used as a low voltage only or high voltage only tester, or with the addition of all functionality, the instrument can be used for both high and low voltage testing. Simply configure the instrument to best suit your application.
