TM1800 Circuit Breaker Characteristics Analysis System

The TM1800™ is a newly developed instrumentation platform for circuit breaker maintenance based on 20 years of experience with more than 4,000 circuit breaker performance analyzers. The modularity of the design allows the TM1800™ system to be configured to perform measurements on all types of circuit breakers currently known in the world market. This highly reliable system incorporates powerful new technology that simplifies circuit breaker testing. Advanced measurement modules provide significant time savings as many parameters can be measured simultaneously, eliminating the need to reconfigure the system each time. The patented DualGround™ testing technology with the new DCM module makes testing safer and saves time because the switch can be grounded on both sides throughout the test. The DCM uses dynamic capacitive measurement technology. Timing M/R module uses patented active interference cancellation technology to obtain correct and accurate tripping values on circuit breakers with PVR (Feeder Resistor) in high voltage substations.

The adaptive, easy-to-use software package supports time measurement by simply turning a knob without the need for pre-configuration to call up advanced help functions for connecting to a test object. A full qwerty keyboard and an 8 color screen on the front of the instrument provide a comfortable user interface. The work sequence Select-Connect-Inspect provides quick results in three steps. Testing is easier to do and easier to learn. In addition, the system provides full connectivity to the local network, printers, etc.
